Painful felicity (2009)

for Symphonic Windorchestra – ca. 11 min, Level: Grad 6

Beschreibung:
Pain is part of our lives, just like the air is part of the breathing process. The person who accepts this no longer tries to heal the scars of his/her past but instead draws strength from his/her fate. “Leave the spine, gather the rose” wrote Georg Friedrich Händel in one of his oratorios. These words can analogically be used for this composition in which intimate and personal assimilation as well as the public message are similar.

Premiere: 1.
